John Higgins

John joined Mancini Law Group in June 2020. Born and raised in Metro Detroit, John earned a BA in Criminal Justice from Western Michigan University. In 2016, John graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where his focus was trial advocacy. While in law school, he developed his litigation skills as a member of Chicago-Kent's nationally-ranked competitive trial advocacy team. After law school, John served as a public defender before joining an insurance defense firm, where he successfully tried over a dozen cases to verdict.

John's experience defending insurance companies gives him an insight into how insurance companies think and operate, and his public defense background instilled a passion for justice and compassionate representation he has carried with him into private practice. Since joining Mancini Law Group, he has used that experience to obtain maximum results for his clients. In his spare time, John enjoys spending time with his fiancée and their two dogs, playing guitar and cooking.
