Greg Smith is a former college athlete who earned both his undergraduate degree and his law degree from The Ohio State University while on full academic scholarships, Greg is accustomed to achieving success through hard work and a desire to be the best. The same passion and competitive fire that earned Academic All-American and All-Big Ten honors for Greg as a student athlete at Ohio State continues today in his legal practice, where he focuses on personal injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death.
Greg is an experienced trial lawyer with 15 years of solid litigation experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants. He believes that a lawyer must fully understand both perspectives to have the best chance of success. Having represented personal injury clients for over a decade, he understands the pain and difficulty which his clients go through, and knows what it means to be a counselor in every sense of the word. Greg has achieved multiple multi-million dollar jury verdicts and settlements in personal injury cases in Franklin County, Ohio and its surrounding counties. Walter Messenger has been practicing personal injury litigation in since 2001. He has tried many bench and jury trials as well as briefed and argued cases in appellate courts.
Walter is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Foundation, Columbus Bar Association, Columbus Bar Foundation, American Association for Justice and Ohio Association for Justice. He was recently awarded the “Heavy Hitter Award” from the Columbus Bar Foundation and Columbus Legal Aid Society for his work with defending tenants from landlord abuses as well as assisting military veterans with various legal matters. He volunteered many years at the Big Brother Big Sister Association of Franklin County. Walter is a military veteran and served aboard the U.S.S. John F. Kennedy during Operation Desert Storm and aboard the U.S.S. Theodore Roosevelt during Operation Deny Flight in Bosnia. He has an honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy and is a lifetime member of VFW Post 4719. He is a member of Columbus's famous Harmony Project where he sings in a 240-member choir and provides valuable community service to the underprivileged. Walter has a passion for helping the less fortunate and has given many hours of community and legal services to assist.
Walter is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum for resolving two cases for over $1,000,000 each. He was named as a rising star by the Ohio Super Lawyer's magazine for four consecutive years.
